Carolina Home & Garden is located in Newport, NC, just minutes from the Crystal Coast and nearby beaches. Whether you are visiting for the Garden Center, a casual afternoon, food and drinks, or one of our weekly happenings, this page gives you the key details you need before you arrive.
General Hours
Closed: Monday & Tuesday
Wednesday through Saturday: 9:00am to 9:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
During wedding season in the spring and fall, we may close early on select Saturdays. Please refer to our calendar for those dates.
Garden Center Hours
Wednesday through Saturday: 9:00am to 7:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
The garden center operates within our general business hours, but closes earlier in the evening.
Coffee Shop & Bar Hours
Our coffee, cocktail, and gathering spaces are open during regular business hours.
Wednesday through Saturday: 9:00am to 9:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm
This includes access to the gathering spaces, arcade area, and lounge experience during open hours.
Food Truck & Pizza Hours
Garden of Eaten food truck and wood fired pizza are available on select days throughout the week.
Wednesday and Thursday: 5:30pm to 8:30pm
Friday: 11:30am to 3:00pm, 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday: 11:30am to 3:00pm, 5:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Food truck schedules and menu availability may vary.
Grace Adventure Park Hours
Friday: 11:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am to 5:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Grace Adventure Park is located right next door to Carolina Home & Garden.
Weekly Happenings
There is always something happening during business hours, and each day brings a slightly different experience.
Wednesdays
Wednesdays feature rotating food trucks starting at lunchtime, along with evening events such as Plant Bingo, Music Bingo, Family Trivia, or Puzzle Competition. Wine Down Wednesday also brings select wine specials and food in the evening.
Thursdays
Thursdays are a great time to stop in for discounted drinks, with $5 pints and pours on draft beer and house wines. Food trucks are available during the day, and wood fired pizza is served in the evening.
Fridays
Fridays bring a livelier atmosphere with live music starting in the evening. Guests can enjoy coffee, fresh juices, lunch service, dinner service, and full access to the bar, lounge, and arcade areas.
Saturdays
Saturdays continue the weekend energy with food service throughout the day and live music in the evening. During wedding season, please note that some Saturdays may close early.
Sundays
Sundays are more family focused, with a relaxed atmosphere that includes time in the gardens, movies in the sunroom, arcade games, and food service during the afternoon. On select Sundays, vendor markets also take place on the property.
